Interior Health has been awarded a
2007 H2E Champions for Change Award for its leadership in improving the
environmental performance of the health care sector. The award will be
presented Monday May 14th at the 2007 Hospitals for a Healthy Environment
(H2E) Environmental Excellence Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The award application, written by
Aura Rose of Healthwise Communications Inc., was one of over 130 evaluated
by a team of 30 reviewers. "We have undertaken a number of activities
to green our organization", said David Loukras, Corporate Director, Material
Services, who contracted Healthwise to write the application. "It's
always great to get recognition for that. Thanks to Aura's writing
skills, her ability to pull information together and highlight achievements,
we will take home one of the industry's premier environmental honours."
The H2E Champions for Change Award
is the second highest award possible from Hospitals for a Healthy
Environment. A non-profit organization, H2E has been awarding
environmental leaders since 2002. |
